VETT A295 — Veterinary Assistant Practicum 3 Credits
Provides practical experience in a workplace setting. The faculty, practicum supervisor, and student collaborate to achieve workplace training to reflect the student's occupational objectives. Special Note: Students must have the strength and flexibility to be able to move/restrain/lift animals and supplies, endurance to stand for extended periods of time, sufficient vision and hearing to assess the condition of patient, and dexterity to perform the fine motor skills and procedures.
