Introductions to the basic principles of solutions, chemical reaction rates, acid‐base chemistry, elementary molecular and ionic equilibria, oxidation‐reduction and electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, metal and nonmetal groups of the periodic table, and the structure and properties of simple organic compounds are studied in this course.
