EDU 209 - Symbolic Representation, Language and Literacy 3 cr. EDU 209 - Symbolic Representation, Language and Literacy 3 cr. Symbolic Representation, Language and Literacy is focused on exploration of how young children learn language and literacy. The course will investigate the interaction between symbolic development, language, and literacy acquisition in children birth through 5 years of age.
