ENG 223 - Introduction to Poetry 3 cr. ENG 223 - Introduction to Poetry 3 cr. Introduction to Poetry is a representative study of poetic forms and poetry from around the world. Through a close examination of the poetry, we will explore the evolution of poetic form, literary movements, and the wide range of themes addressed through poetry. Students will examine the historical, cultural, and social influences of poetry. Semester(s) all and Spring as needed
