GEG 101 - Physical Geography 3 cr. GEG 101 - Physical Geography 3 cr. Basic principles of geographic location, climatic conditions, and landforms as they influence climates, weather, vegetation patterns, streams, groundwater, environmental concerns, and soils are covered in this course. Emphasis is on the inter‐relationships of these principles with the distribution of the world’s population and people’s use of the Earth. The course includes a Saturday field trip. 3 hours lecture.
