MFG 230 - Grading, Markers, Laser Cutting, and Specs 3 cr. MFG 230 - Grading, Markers, Laser Cutting, and Specs 3 cr. This course will cover pattern grading and marker making by hand and computer software. Grading concepts and theories will be introduced in this course. How to apply grade measurements proportionally to all pieces in a pattern set will be demonstrated. Attendees will create multiple sizes from a sample pattern and develop marker layouts for mass production cutting. Attendees will also learn how to operate an industrial laser cutter. 3 hours lecture.
