Topics include membranes and membrane trafficking, cytoskeleton, signal transduction, cell cycle regulation and experimental methods used in cell studies. Examples will come from all phyla of life. (3 hrs lect) Pre-req: BIOL 2201, CHEM 1155 and 1156 or 1175 and 1176; may be taken without lab BIOL 2102; credit will not be granted if already received for BIOL 2101
