BUS2500 — Fundamentals of Applied Stats

This course introduces students to the fundamental of modern business statistics. Emphasis is on application of the statistical concepts to decision making in an uncertain environment. Topics include summary statistics, probability distributions and statistical inference. which includes estimation, hypothesis testing and regression analysis. The application of computers in statistical analysis is introduced. This course cannot be used to fulfill a LSBE major/minor requirement.
