CHE4515 — Energy Harvesting Materials
This course aims to provide students opportunities to explore energy harvesting and active materials, with primary focus on piezoelectric, shape memory, light harvesting, and photovoltaic materials. It covers the electrical, thermal and optical properties of the materials and their applications in sensors, transducers, light-emitting diodes, and solar cells. Additionally, the course highlights the role of these technologies in building sustainable energy solutions. Prerequisites: ChE 3231 or instructor consent
