CRIM3360 — Drugs and Society
This course examines drugs and drug use in America and in a global context. It reviews classes of drugs and patterns of drug use, as well as the effects that drugs have on society and individuals. It examines drugs and drug use from a variety of perspectives, including historical, social, legal, and policy. It considers research and practice in the criminal justice, legal, and treatment realms as it pertains to drugs. Special focus is placed on the latest trends involving drugs. prereq: minimum 30 credits
