ECH1000 — The Ethical EC Professional
This course provides the ethical foundations for early childhood professionals to understand the legal, ethical and advocacy responsibilities a teacher has to children, families, the community, colleagues, and the profession. Students will critically reflect on the complex nature of early childhood education to understand the changing trends in legislation relating to children; and current issues in children’s rights, including welfare, human rights, and childcare.
