EDUC1003 — Unpacking Systemic Bias in Edu
The study of the historical, political, and social foundations underlying the development and purpose of education. The course provides a critical look at how race continues to impact and influence PreK - 12 education in the United States, particularly when considered through the intersectionality of social class, ethnicity, gender, and religion; and how these manifest issues in public schooling.
