EES4260 — Fluvial Geomorphology
Fluvial geomorphology covers the physical processes operating in stream channels and watersheds including watershed-scale hydrology and topography; reach-scale fluid mechanics and sediment transport; and channel patterns, forms, and classification systems. Other topics included will be river history, human alterations to rivers, and river restoration efforts. pre-req: MATH 1290 or 1296, and PHYS 1001 or 2013 or 2017, and EES 2010 or 3420, or instructor consent
