The study of sustainability issues with an emphasis on climate change toward building knowledge of issues’ causes and impacts, as well as skills for investigating issues and considering solutions such as regulation, economics/markets, community planning, innovation, social movements, behavioral change. Also emphasized are strategies for communicating about controversial issues and educating for transformative change.
