ENGL3450 — Banned Books
Explores literature of the last 100 years that have been controversial to publish, disseminate, or teach. Students pair close reading of texts with research into the controversies that have emerged and consider the roles literature plays in social, cultural, and political life. prereq: Recommend 6 or more credits of completed ENGL courses. Credit will not be granted if already received for ENGL 4450.
