EXSC2430 — Resistance Training Techniques
This lab-based course will introduce resistance training techniques that address the major muscle groups and movement patterns in the human body. Students will learn fundamental body weight, free weight, and machine-based exercises that may be applied in rehabilitation, general health & fitness, and sports performance populations. General safety practices including spotting techniques and contraindications to exercise will also be addressed. prereq: EXSC 2040 co-requisite: Students should enroll in EXSC 2430 and 3430 in same semester.
