ED1103 — Student Development & Support
This course is for first time student leaders designated to serve in key Student Affairs leadership positions (Community Advisors, Peer Mentors, Orientation Leaders, etc.). Students will be given an introduction to leadership theory and student development theory as well as taught skills essential to their role such as crisis management, de-escalation and health and well-being. Course completion partially fulfills training specific to the students' position. This course is complementary to the MLEAD program and does utilize the first of six modules that make up that program, but is not a replacement for the program. prereq: instr consent
