ELED3205 — Advanced Reading Methods
This course provides an advanced exploration of core literacy skills in the elementary grades, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to assess reading competencies and effectively teach students how to read. Participants will explore and implement assessment tools and analyze data to evaluate student reading abilities, further informing instructional decision-making and guiding instructional planning. In addition, the course will apply previously explored concepts reflecting the cognitive processes involved in reading the most effective instructional methods for promoting reading proficiency. prereq: admission to the elementary education program, 3102
