ELED4102 — Social Studies in Elem Sch
This course provides a broad variety of research-based methods and instructional strategies for teaching social studies in the elementary classroom. Throughout this course, students will be introduced to the disciplines, learn how to use tools of inquiry, use primary and secondary sources in instruction, use multiple perspectives in history with an emphasis on marginalized groups, use inquiry based assessment and plan for diversity, culture and exceptionalities. prereq: admission to the elementary education program
