ELED4103 — Science in Elem School
This course provides students with the knowledge needed to successfully implement current science standards into the elementary classroom. Teacher candidates will explore and implement inquiry-based teaching methods and strategies, examine current science curriculums, and understand different assessment strategies. Through the study and use of culturally diverse texts, teacher candidates will enhance their ability to design effective science instruction in order to meet the needs of a diverse student population. prereq: admission to the elementary education program
