ELED4104 — Language Arts/Lit in Elem Sch
This course is designed to prepare future educators with the knowledge, skills and strategies needed to create inclusive and dynamic literacy environments that foster growth through reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing and visual representation. The interconnectedness of reading and writing instruction will be investigated, exploring the importance of seamless integration through interactive activities and reflective practices. Through the study and selection of culturally diverse texts, teacher candidates will enhance their ability to analyze and teach literature effectively while cultivating literacy skills and a love of reading and writing in future classrooms. prereq: admission to the elementary education program
