ENGL1213 — World Literature Survey
Instead of examining literature from one country or in one particular language, world literature courses focus on canonical texts across the globe, thus enabling students to see how similar ideas take historical shape within radically different linguistic and cultural contexts. Starting with the Renaissance, this course will consider texts in translation from writers in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas.
