ESCI2104 — Permaculture

2 credits · 2 hours

Permaculture is an interdisciplinary, whole-systems approach to working with nature to create landscapes and ways of living that sustain people and the world around us. In this half-semester course, students will use permaculture principles to analyze a site's climate and topography and develop a sustainable site design. We will also discuss how we can apply the permaculture ethic of "Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share" to our lives more broadly.
