ESCI3111 — Evolution of the MN Prairie
Interpretation of the geologic, geochemical, climatologic, and paleontological records of western Minnesota to reconstruct the origin and history of the landscape, flora, and fauna during the last 15,000 years. Topics include: climate, deglaciation, large lakes, vegetation changes, late Pleistocene mammals, peopling of the upper Midwest, and extraterrestrial impact events in the upper Midwest.
