FREN2001 — Intermediate French I
This course moves students towards the expression of abstract thought in French. By studying more complicated linguistic and cultural structures, students gain the skill to discuss hypothetical and theoretical ideas, which is a key component of real conversations with French speakers. Fren 2001 similarly expands students’ ability to read more complex texts and to express their own ideas in writing. prereq: 1002 or placement
