HIST1303 — U.S. History: Colonial to Rec
This course examines methods, themes and problems in United States history beginning with the Colonial Period and extending to Reconstruction. Its primary focus is the tension between Enlightenment ideals emphasizing human freedom, equality and the primacy of reason and the persistent reality of inequality premised on race, gender, class and ethnicity.
