ITAL1801 — Rome in Literature and Film
Study of representations of the city of Rome in significant works of Italian literature and film. Topics include the rhetorical construction of national and cultural identities, the individual's relationship to fictional and lived space, the city as stage for major cultural and political preoccupations of contemporary Italy.
