This course is intended to support writing as students begin their academic studies. The course refreshes prior grammar learning; builds competency in more advanced clause structures such as noun clauses, adverb clauses, and conditionals; and strengthens competency in areas of mechanics, such as the use of commas and other common punctuation related to specific writing conventions.
