PHYS3006 — Observatory II
Course builds skills in basic telescope operation as well as aspects of astrophotography using advanced camera equipment. Skills in image acquisition and processing for astronomical objects are being developed. Engagement in observatory events is expected. Meeting times may vary due to variable observing conditions, but a minimum in person participation of two hours per week is expected, typically in the evening, with an additional workload of 60 hours throughout the semester. prereq: 2101 or CSci 2101 or Math 2101
