POL1861 — Constitutionality of Secession
This course examines the arguments regarding secession, particularly about its constitutionality. Specifically, students will engage with an in-depth simulation of the 1861 Kentucky state legislature. Students will encounter a major political question that tore our nation apart: Is secession a constitutional act states can engage in? prereq: new college student in their first semester of enrollment at UMM.
