This is an interdisciplinary program housed in the Division of Social Sciences. The program is administered by the Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS) coordinator who is a faculty member of any of the four divisions. Gender and sexuality are urgent contemporary issues that impact the culture, politics, and economics of American and international societies. Because such issues affect nearly every professional field and avenue of inquiry, GWSS students engage critically with theoretical and practical models from across the disciplines.
