CAP3522 — Community Collaboratory

Extends the student learning experience into the local community. Confronts the challenges present in complex human systems and engages in community projects identified by local public, private, and nonprofit organizations. Builds sustainable and meaningful partnerships between the university and the surrounding community. Provides an opportunity for students to build relationships with people of different backgrounds and life experiences, broaden worldviews, critically and creatively examine community concerns, and discover their capacity to affect change in the world around them. Note: previously taught as CLI 3522. prereq: junior status or above
