CLPS 901 - Clinical Sonography I CLPS 901 - Clinical Sonography I This course prepares the student for the application of classroom knowledge to the practice of ultrasound by means of formal scanning labs combined with a clinical internship. Performing basic, general ultrasound examinations in both the laboratory and clinical settings is stressed. Patient care applications, ethical issues, and medico-legal considerations are discussed as they relate to the practice of an ultrasound examination and of the student’s place in the clinical setting. This is a graded course. Prerequisite(s): DMSM 102 , DMSM 104 Co-requisite(s): DMSM 105 , DMSM 109 14 clinical hours per week 2 credit hours
