It includes a review of historical, cultural, and societal influences on education as well as current trends and issues in the field. The course also focuses on general teaching best practices, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), UDL (Universal Design for Learning), educational theory, classroom management issues, teacher evaluations, and professional standards for New Jersey teachers. 3
