ESL 087 - Accelerated Intermediate Grammar/Writing ESL 087 - Accelerated Intermediate Grammar/Writing This course is an accelerated Levels 3 and 4 intermediate grammar/writing English for Academic Purposes (EAP) sequence designed for students whose native language is not English. The purpose of this course is to introduce and develop the students’ ability to write academic compositions. Students will use intermediate level grammar and editing skills to improve fluency and clarity needed for written and oral communication. Prerequisite(s): ESL 077 or ESL Placement Test, and permission of instructor Co-requisite(s): ESL 088 and ESL 089 6
