FIA 126 - Jazz Appreciation FIA 126 - Jazz Appreciation This course focuses a comprehensive study of jazz, from its origins to the present day. Study will be centered on influential composers, instrumentalists, vocalists and arrangers. This course will also include the study of musical elements, such as instrumentation, lyrics, form, rhythm and harmony. Students will be able to identify styles, structural components, and instrumental ensembles from different jazz periods. 3
