HIT 202 - Coding & Classification I HIT 202 - Coding & Classification I This course focuses on disease coding using the International Classification of Diseases 10th Edition, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) with an emphasis on the use and applications of coding principles and classification systems in the healthcare environment. The review of medical records to identify diagnoses with treatment, and/or services performed, and the correct sequencing for optimal reimbursement will also be discussed.
