MAT 125 - Survey of Mathematics MAT 125 - Survey of Mathematics ▲ = Fulfills a General Education Requirement This course will introduce non-STEM majors to the fundamental concepts of mathematics, emphasizing their relevance and application to a variety of disciplines and fields. Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the study of sets, logic systems, numeration, probability, statistics, and geometric structures. This course fosters quantitative reasoning using appropriate mathematical concepts and operations to interpret data and solve real-world problems. 4
