RNTM 201 - Fundamentals of Computed Tomography RNTM 201 - Fundamentals of Computed Tomography This course is designed to provide a basic overview of the fundamentals of Computed Tomography (CT) technology. Equipment, instrumentation, image processing, reconstruction, patient safety, cross sectional anatomy and patient positioning will be discussed. CT involves the use of rotating x-ray equipment, combined with a digital computer, to obtain cross sectional images of the body. This course is to both radiographers and non-radiographers. 3
