MUSC 4500 — Intro to Orff Teacher Training
The Orff Introductory Course is designed to familiarize music specialists with the elements of the Orff philosophy of music education. Students explore this creative approach through speech, singing, movement, improvisation, and instrument technique including pitched, non-pitched percussion and recorders. Participants will learn Orff terminology as well as review basic music theory. Through 30 hours of music, movement and drama activities students discover the Orff music process. This course is highly recommended for all students wishing to continue with Level I.
