PHAR 1106 — Community Pharmacy
This course introduces students to the pharmacy technician's role in providing pharmacy services in community pharmacy practice. Prescription processing, compounding, third party insurance plans, record keeping, purchasing, receiving and issues pertaining to security are discussed. The lab component of the course focuses on dispensing and compounding skills. This course is part of the full-time Pharmacy Technician Program.
