AGNR 101L — Livestock Feeding and Nutrition

The science of animal nutrition including the fundamentals of digestion and absorption in both ruminants and non-ruminants. Anatomy of large animal digestive systems will be discussed along with feed requirements. Students will formulate rations for a variety of livestock for maximum performance and growth. Laboratory required. C-ID AG-AS 132 L.
