HIST 101 — Western Civilization to 1500
A survey course charting the development of the foundations of Western peoples from prehistoric times, through the rise and diffusion of civilization in the era of Middle Eastern dominance and the Middle Ages, and culminating with the Renaissance period in Western Europe. Political, economic, cultural and intellectual developments will be examined both internally and in relation to the larger world context. C-ID HIST 170.
