PHT 040 — Pharmacy Orientation & Pharmacy Calculat
This course will introduce students to the practice of pharmacy, state pharmacy technician licensure requirements and program expectations. Students will explore advancing and emerging opportunities for technicians now and in the future. Students will learn to perform pharmaceutical calculations used in pharmacy practice, dosage calculations, special medical and business math calculations. Students will practice apothecary, household and metric unit conversions commonly used in pharmacy.
