510-851 — Updates in Diabetic Meds
Focus on the latest advances of anti-diabetic agents including various insulins and oral hypoglycemic agents. Emphasis will be on current updates, safe-prescribing practices and prescribing methodologies. This class is intended for advanced practice nurses and practicing nurses. It will focus on pharmacotherapeutics for nurses with prescriptive authority. This course provides three nursing contact hours.
