ACC118 — Accounting for Non-Business Majors
3 Credits This course provides an overview of financial and managerial accounting basics. Topics include the financial statements, the accounting cycle, and the use of managerial accounting information for decision-making. Microsoft Excel will be used to reinforce concepts. This course is not recommended for students seeking transfer credit in accounting. Notes: Prior to Fall 2021, ACC 118 was called Foundations of Accounting and Finance Prerequisites: Successful completion of MATH 93 , MATH 94 or higher and READ 93; OR Course Placement
