ACC220 — Introduction to Accounting Analytics
3 Credits This course focuses on the basics of data analytics with an accounting emphasis. Students will learn the types of data and how they affect analysis, the extract-transform-load (ETL) process, and how to communicate the results of their analysis using appropriate visualization tools. By completing short exercises and several projects, they will perform four types of analytics – descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive.
