ECE275 — Early Childhood Practicum 3
2 Credits This 80-hour practicum experience accompanies the course ECE 274 - Early Childhood Curriculum . Working alongside mentor teachers, students participate in professional development opportunities and apply theory, standards, regulations, and practices to guide their actions in the field setting. Students develop and deepen connections with the children’s families. They observe and document children’s interests and discoveries in order to understand children’s thinking and prepare materials that support development. Notes: Early Childhood A.A.S. and Certificate students may take only one field related course per semester.
