EDU200 — Special Education: Contemporary Perspectives
3 Credits This course provides an overview of working with children with exceptionalities. Topics include the historical, legal, and philosophical foundations of special education. Students will explore classroom models, teaching strategies, modifications, and accommodations from a strengths-based perspective. Current issues and trends will be explored. Prerequisites: None
