FILM102 — Film 1945 to Present
3 Credits An historical and critical survey of films beginning with World War II to the present. Students will explore the major works and movements of modern cinema, including Italian Neorealism, the French New Wave and the New Hollywood era. Close attention will be paid to the development of film as an art from within a wider cultural and aesthetic context. The focus will be on developing the skills necessary for the critical analysis of films. Pre or Corequisites: FILM 100 - Introduction to Film
